INTRODUCING
Casa del Lecceto is a 18th century Manor house which has been restored and rennovated respecting perfectly the Tuscan architecture of the times. The furniture and fittings are also in the original Tuscan style.
The big house is welcoming and hospitable, comprises 3 very large apartments and is about 2kms. from the town of Venturina. The owner Sergio and his wife run the house personally.
The house is completely fenced off and access is through the ancient gates which are electrically operated. Situated in the countryside, close to the sea, Casa del Lecceto is at the foot of the Campigliesi hills in the Val di Cornia, with wonderful views of the olive groves in the valley.
The Etruscan Coast with the beach of Rimigliano is 8kms. away, and Baratti / Populonia 11kms. away; beaches offering both sand and rocks.
The beaches can be reached in10mins. by car, as can Piombino, where the ferries leave for the Island of Elba; the hill towns of Campiglia Marittima and Suvereto are nearby. Siena, Volterra, Massa Marittima, Pisa, Firenze e San Gemignano, are all accessible by car in around an hour and a half.
The Parks of the Val di Cornia, of historic interest, and medieval Populonia with its Etruscan necropolis are close by and offer cultural and environmental itineraries; there is also a Spa at Le Terme del Calidario 2 km.away, where prices include all facilities, including two Spa pools for both.
Courtyard animals and the horse Luna accompany us, and we look forward to receiving those friends who wish to spend their holidays in our big country house.
